Classroom learning is not solely based on knowing and memorizing vocabulary words and also it is not purely enough to master a language. Using our own perception, and practices in mastering a second language it must put into consideration in terms of level of proficiency. There are some points that needs to be considered, for instance the attitude and the learners interest in learning. It should have a specific time frame for an effective feedback of the mastery level. As we all know, language revolves as time changes or language itself is self developing.

Constantly, I would say that it really takes time to successfully master a second language. It is difficult to identify a definite point of complete mastery of a language, it requires to master fluency, intonation, accent, proper pronunciation, reading and writing. Some of the different learning styles can be implemented that enable students to use the target language much more easily. There should be step by step process wherein the learners can grasp every concepts that cannot be forgotten. Especially that learning a new language might be frustrating for students who have low proficiency level. Difficulties in producing sentences with the correct use of grammar and appropriate choice of words is somewhat common amongst students whose ability to acquire a language is low.

There should be a collaborative and interactive setting inside the classroom learning environment for the sake of retention. Accordingly, as Schulz (1991) directly states that “Formal instruction can temporarily improve performance on discrete-point tests, but apparently it has relatively little influence on spontaneous language use” which is crucial for second language learning. The learners behavior in terms of the usage of language must actively used continuously because there are some instances that, those memorized concepts or terms tends to be easily forgotten. Thus, intervention or immersion is being applied to learners.

Take note mental health should be observed especially that it might lead to possibilities that the learner's mind or brain would be exhausted causing malfunction. Learning a language should never stop when a learner's feet stepped out from that learning environment. Active participation of oneself outside the said environment would be a great help in mastering a second language. There are some tools that will help you master in language acquisition such as listening to podcasts, language acquisitions techniques on YouTube, reading local literature, watching movies with subtitles and imitate.

In conclusion, learning a second language takes takes time, but gradual development is still a progress, take it slowly but surely.
